If you have multiple Quotes on a Project that have not been Confirmed, you may want to set one as the Primary Quote, and the rest as Alternative/Additional Quotes. This will ensure better reporting data, as the system knows you're not expecting to win all the Quotes.
To set a Primary Quote:
- Open the Project
- Open the Entities > Bids tab
- Locate the quote in the Quote Type column
- Click on the current type, which will open a pop-up
- Select Primary on the one you want to make the Primary Quote
- Change the others to Alternative/Additional
Please Note: By default, you can only have one primary quote per project. You can change the primary quote at any time, and the previous primary will be changed to 'additional' type. Contact CETA to enable a setting to allow multiple primary quotes, either by default or with a check every time.
