In iCFM, you can add an extra level of checks to potential Projects by enabling the Risk Assessments setting. When enabled, this feature will require users to complete a mandatory Risk Assessment form for before Quotes can be Confirmed when the following conditions are met:
- Quote Discount Threshold exceeded (when the discount applied to a quote exceeds a specified percentage)
- Quote Rate Card Total Threshold exceeded (when the rate card total amount of a quote exceeds a predefined limit)
To enable Risk Assessments:
- Menu > Admin Options
- Open Project Type Editor
- Select Project Type
- Set Quote discount threshold in riskassessmentdiscountthreshold
- (and / or) Set Quote rate card total threshold in riskassessmenttotalthreshold
- Repeat Steps 3-5 for other Project Types if neccessary
To Complete a Risk Assessment Form:
- Open the Quote
- Authorise the Quote
- Quote Menu > Risk Assessments
- Complete all required fields in the form to assess the Project
- Click Save Without Email. Two additional options will appear:
- Authorise: This button is visible only to users with the /riskassessmentapproval permission Approved in their User profile. Clicking Authorise will unlock the quote, allowing it to be Confirmed.
- Save & Send Email: For Users who cannot Authorise a Quote, select to send an email to a designated User who can approve Risk Assessments
You can set/amend the User to Authorise Quotes here:
- Main Menu > Admin Options
- Project Type Editor
- Select Project Type
- Enter email address in quotewhotoemail
- Repeat Steps 3-4 as neccessary
By default, the Risk Assessment form will include the following fields:
