A Quote (Also called a Bid or an Estimate) is a statement detailing the Services that you intend to provide to your client, along with description and pricing. In iCFM you choose Services from your Rate Card to put together a Quote to be reviewed by your Client. As you build the Quote, you can start to build an idea of the approximate Revenue and Cost of the Project before Scheduling any Resources.
One Project can have multiple Quotes as you may offer a client alternative options for a Project, make revisions based on their feedback, or add additional or overage Quotes if further work is required.
There are 3 key parts to a Bid:
Quote Header | Quote ID, Title, Client Name, Start Date etc |
Covering Letter | A summary of what you plan to do, which will appear on the first page of a Quote |
Quote Detail | The Services as line items, split into named sections, with prices, descriptions, comments |
To search Quotes:
- Main Menu > Quote
- The Quote Search page will open
- Enter any required criteria (optional)
- Click Search
- Your Quotes will display
- Click the Quote ID to open the Quote Detail page
