You can save Quotes as Templates to reuse at any time. This is useful if you know that many of your Projects will use mostly the same Services, or you have a recurring Project with a client. Rather than having to start from a blank Quote every time, it is possible to create Templates that contain pre-set Rate Card Services and descriptions, which can save you a lot of time.
Quote Templates are allocated to specific Project Types. For example, if you have two Project Types (TV and Commercial), you could create two (or more) Templates based on the different Services usually required for each Project Type. A Template can be shared across more than one Project Type.
To view your existing Quote Templates:
- Go to Menu > Admin Options
- Open the Quote Template Editor
- Select a Project Type from the list on the left and the Quote Templates available to that Project Type will be listed on the right
From the Quote Template Editor you can add, open, rename and delete your Quote Templates, and switch which rates each Template uses. See Edit a Quote Template for details. To create a Quote Template, see Create a Quote Template.
