You might want to Copy a Quote if you have already sent a Quote to a Client, and now need to make changes. Use the steps below to copy the existing Quote, make amendments to the new version, and then Cancel the original Quote if required.
You can also use this tool to copy an existing Quote to another Project, if you want to offer the same Quote data again. To do this, first make a note of the Project # of the Project you want to copy the Quote to, then follow the steps below, ensuring to enter that Project # in Step 3. The Quote will now be copied into the new Project, using the dates of the original Project.
To Copy a Quote:
- Open the Quote you want to copy
- Menu > Copy Quote - the Copy pop-up will open
- If copying the Quote to a different Project, enter the Project # - otherwise leave as is to copy within the same Project
- Tick any of the relevant checkboxes for the options you want to carry over to the new Quote (see table below)
- Click Save
Please Note: If the new Quote is replacing an older version, please remember to Cancel the original.
