Edit Company Status

Companies can be given a Status of Available, Hidden, or Deleted. By default, all Companies will be Available, and this means can be selected from the Company drop-down lists on Projects. You can use the Hidden or Deleted Status to remove them from these lists, temporarily, or permanently if they should not be selected (for example, if the Company is out of business).


Hidden means that they will no longer appear in the drop-down lists, but existing Projects will be able to move forward.

Deleted Companies will remain in the system for archival purposes but will not appear in drop-down's, and any Projects with them selected would not be able to proceed.


To set the Company Status:

  1. Main Menu > Company > Open the Company record
  2. On the Company page, select the correct Status icon
  3. Save the Company and the Status will be updated.


Alternatively, Company status can be updated on the Company search screen, which is a much quicker way to make multiple amendments at the same time.
