Any company that you do business with can be added to your database. The company list will typically become a database of your clients and suppliers, and can include agencies, production companies, advertisers, and other facility houses.
Company records can also be linked with Contacts - noting an employee/employer relationship.
Searching for Companies
- To search for an existing company, select the 'Company' option from the Admin section of the main menu.
- A new browser tab will open which gives you some basic criteria to use to locate the company record.
- Enter some criteria and click the 'Search' button.
- To open the company record click the link in the ID column or the company name column. The company details page will open in a new tab.
- If you already know the company ID, you have the option of opening the company record without accessing the search page.
- To do this, select the Company > [Find] option from the Company line in the main menu. Enter the ID when prompted, then click OK to open the company details page.
