To create a new Company record, follow the steps below:
- Open the Main Menu
- Next to Company, click the green + icon
- A new Company page will open
- Complete with any information known (required fields are shown in bold)
- Click Save
Please Note: As you type the Company name, the panel on the left will search for and show Companies with a similar or identical name. This is useful for minimising the number of duplicate company records. If the Client you are adding appears, click on the name to open up in another tab.
Once the record has been saved a unique company ID is allocated, the lower section of the details page will be enabled, giving you the option of adding company Contacts, Account Information, Custom Rates etc.
To edit an existing Company, use the search methods described below to locate the Company record, make the required amendments and click Save.
Companies as Advertisers (Brands)
If you want the Company you are adding to be able to "own" Products, you need to check the box on the right hand side of the Company page labelled "Advertiser" (and Save).
Once this is checked, the Company will appear in the Advertiser/Brand field when editing a Product.
