You can edit your Quote Templates at any time from the Quote Template Editor, either by opening a Template to change its content or by switching which rates it uses. Changes made to a Template will only affect Quotes created from it in future. Quotes already raised from the Template are not affected.
Follow these steps to edit your Quote Templates:
- Go to Menu > Admin Options
- Open the Quote Template Editor
- Select a Project Type from the list on the left and the Quote Templates available to that Project Type will be listed on the right
- Click the Quote ID of the Template you want to edit
- Make all modifications within the Quote, in the same way you would edit any other Quote
The Rates From column shows which rates each Template is currently using. Click Toggle Rates to switch between the two without opening the Template.

|---|---|
| Quote Template | The rates saved with the Template, including any adjustments or discounts. These stay fixed and will not change if your Rate Card rates are updated |
| Rate Card | The Rate Card rates as they stand when the Quote is created, so any Rate Card updates are picked up automatically |
