Link a Contact to a Resource

Typically, Resources are created for Internal people (employees of your company), and Contacts are External, however there are a few reasons why you may have both for the same person. For example, if one of your past employees becomes a Client or Supplier, you would need to create a new Contact record for them. In iCFM you can link a Contact and a Resource to keep that person's history and details together.

To link a Contact and a Resource:

  1. Open the Resource
  2. Search for the Contact name in the Contact ID field
  3. Select the Contact
  4. Save
