Link a Contact to a Resource

Typically, you create Resources for internal people (e.g. staff), and Contacts for external people (e.g. freelancers). In order to write custom reports, or to send a mailshot, for example, you may wish to create Contacts for your internal People. These can be linked together in iCFM to avoid duplication or confusion.

To link the two different entity types:

1. Open the Resource page
2. In the Contact ID field, search for the Contact name
3. Select the Contact
4. Click Save
5. This will create a link between the Resource and the Contact
