Link a Contact to a Company (Employees)

In iCFM, you can link a Contact to a Company, creating an 'employee' relationship. It is important that these records are kept up to date as when you create a Project, and choose your Client, only their employees can be selected from the Contact drop-down list.

To link a Contact to a Company follow these steps:

  1. Open the Contact that you want to link to a Company
  2. Select the Companies tab
  3. Click the 'Add' button on the right-hand side of the page
  4. In the pop-up that appears, start typing the name of the Company you want to link to
  5. Select the Company and click Save
  6. The contact will now be available for selection whenever the selected company is added to an entity

In iCFM, a Contact can be linked to multiple Companies at the same time without creating duplicated records. This is useful as you will be able to keep a record of where a Contact has worked before, and which Company they are currently working for.
