"Gekko Data Processing" message on a Project

When you open a Project, you may occasionally see the following message displayed at the top of the page:

"Gekko data for this Project is currently processing. Please be aware that until this is completed, certain reports may be inaccurate."

This is an indicator that the system is rebuilding the financial data for the Project in the background, and is expected behaviour. It is triggered automatically when changes are made to a Project or Entities associated with the Project. You can continue working in the Project as normal while this runs, but as the message notes, certain reports may show inaccurate figures until the rebuild is complete. The message will clear on its own once the process has finished.

If you notice the message has been showing for an extended period on a specific Project and does not clear, it is possible the process has become stuck. In this case, please contact the CETA support team with the Project # and we will resolve this for you.
