Renaming Captions

In iCFM it is possible to rename captions where ever they appear. This may be because your company uses the term Quotes or Estimates, instead of Bids, for example. You must have the /superuser permission to rename captions.

Please Note: Whilst the caption names are customisable, you cannot change the function or use of a field. For example, if you change the Client Name field to Lead Artist, you will not get the desired result as only Company Names will be selectable in the drop-down for this field.

To rename a caption:

1. Hold down Option key on Mac keyboard, or the Alt key for Windows
2. Click on the caption you want to rename
3. A pop-up will appear
4. Enter the new name in the caption field
5. Click OK
6. The caption name will now be changed
