The Depot Editor is used to manage office locations within iCFM. Each Depot represents a physical site where work is carried out or Resources (such as Artists) are based. These settings affect Job Scheduling, availability, VAT, and financial rules.
It’s recommended to create a separate Depot for each city where your company operates. If you have multiple offices in the same city, you can still configure each with its own Depot – for example, to support business separation, distinct teams, or location-specific reporting.
To add a new Depot:
Main Menu > Admin Options
Open the Depot Editor
Click the Create Depot button at the bottom of the screen - a new row will appear at the bottom of the table
Complete all required fields in the new row (see below for more information)
Click Save to confirm the new Depot
Editing a Depot:
- Open the Depot Editor as above
- Make the required changes directly in the relevant Depot row
Important Notes:
- Changes are saved automatically and take effect immediately across the system
- Editing or deleting a Depot may impact how Jobs are scheduled and costed across your system.
- Changes to Currency, Rate Card or Tax settings can affect invoicing and reporting.
- Only users with a good understanding of your company's setup should make adjustments here.
