Public Holidays can be entered into iCFM as a list of dates when your office location will be closed. Once added, holidays such as Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, and Bank Holidays will appear on the Schedule to indicate office closure.
To add a Public Holiday:
- Go to Menu > Admin Options
- Open Public Holiday Editor
- Enter the Holiday Date and Description
- Select a Depot (optional) - leave blank to apply the holiday to all depots
- Click Add - the Public Holiday will appear in the table on the right and on the Schedule
To edit the Depot on an existing Public Holiday:
- Click the Depot value in the table (if no depot is set, click the empty space in the Depot column)
- An Edit Depot pop-up will appear - from here you can:
- To add a depot: select from the dropdown and click the green + button
- To remove a depot: click the red X next to it
- To swap a depot: add the new one first, then remove the old one
- Click the X to close the pop-up
Please Note:
- Public Holidays must be added individually for each year as there is no repeat or recurrence setting
- Public Holidays are taken into account in utilisation and other reports, so it is important they are configured correctly for each Depot.
Public Holiday Colour on the Schedule by Depot:
Public Holidays can be displayed in different colours on the Schedule for each Depot. The colour for each Depot is configured in the Depot Editor.
The Depot field on a Public Holiday controls both where it appears on the Schedule and the colour it displays in:
| Depot Configuration | Visible To | Colour |
|---|---|---|
| No depot specified | All depots | Default colour |
| Single depot specified | That depot only | That depot's configured colour (falls back to default if not set) |
| Multiple depots specified | Those depots only - visible when any of the specified depots is selected | Striped in each depot's configured colour (falls back to default if not set) |
| One record per depot (same date) | Each specified depot only | That depot's configured colour (falls back to default if not set) |
Please Note: Where a Depot is specified, the Depot name will appear in the holiday description on the Schedule (e.g. HOLIDAY (UK) or HOLIDAY (LA,UK))
