Job Tabs

Modified on Thu, 2 Oct at 2:02 PM

Whilst the header at the top of the Job page contains the key details required to create the Job, the tabs in the lower half of the page hold everything else you can add or manage — such as schedule, media, billing, notes, and attachments.

The table below provides an overview of each available tab and its purpose.

Schedule

This tab lists the resources scheduled on the Job, including the dates/times and services booked. Also indicates the actual hours, once entered for the booked resource (typically people type resources only)

DMG

This tab shows and allows adding/editing of DMG tasks. See DMG Instructions

Media

This tab shows Media attached to the Job. You can attach existing media to the Job with the Add button

Project MediaThis tab shows media files that are attached to the Project (the parent container), but are displayed here for visibility at the Job level. You don’t usually upload directly into Project Media from within a Job -instead, you’re linking to media already attached at the project.
Media Required

This tab shows media required for work on the Job. Such items will not be classed as a billable item, unlike the Media tab. You can attach existing media to the Job with the Add button

Notes

This tab contains notes which can be added for internal reference

Purchase

This tab shows Purchase Orders attached to the Job. You can attach existing Purchase Orders to the job with the Add button

Shipping

This tab shows Shipping Notes attached to the Job. You can attach existing Shipping Notes to the job with the Add button

Misc. CostsThis tab shows Misc Cost items attached to the Job. You can attach existing Misc Costs to the Job with the Add button
Billing
Attachments

This shows and allows adding/editing file attachments, for internal use

History

This tab lists a history actions performed on the Job, including datestamp and user details

Gekko DataThis tab shows data associated with the Job which is used for reporting. Typically this tab is hidden, but can be ignored if present

Some Job tabs may display an asterisk (*) next to their name. This indicates that the tab already contains data - in other words, there is something to show on that tab. The asterisk provides a quick visual cue that the tab is not empty.

For example:

  • Schedule tab with * → at least one Resource has been scheduled on this Job

  • Media tab with * → at least one file has been uploaded

  • Billing tab with * → there are billing or costing rows present

  • Notes tab with * → at least one note has been saved
