Edit an Artist Contract

Artist Contracts define an Artist's working hours, lunch times, and day rates for a specific period. Editing a Contract allows you to update these details - for example, to remove a lunch break or adjust rates. When saving changes, you will be prompted to choose how existing Jobs within the Contract period are updated.


Please Note: Changes to a Contract will only apply to new bookings going forwards unless you select an Update Jobs option that affects existing Jobs (see below).


To Edit an Artist Contract:

  1. Open Resource > Contracts tab
  2. Click Edit on the relevant Contract
  3. Make the required changes (for a full description of Contract fields, see Add an Artist Contract)
  4. Select an Update Jobs option (see below)
  5. Click Save - a confirmation pop-up will display how many Jobs will be affected. Click Confirm to proceed or Cancel to go back


Update Jobs Options:

NothingDoes not update any Jobs in the Contract period
RatesCosts will be updated on associated Jobs in the Contract period (Sent To Accounts Jobs will not be affected)
Times (& Rates)Actual Hours and Costs will be updated on associated Jobs in the Contract period (Completed Jobs will not be affected)


Please Note: If you are updating working hours or lunch times and want existing bookings to reflect the change, you must select Times (& Rates). Selecting Nothing or Rates means existing bookings will not be updated.
