Choose Default Service on a Resource

You can set Default Services on a Resource so the correct Service or Services are automatically selected whenever that Resource is scheduled on a Job. This is useful when a Resource usually performs the same Service or combination of Services, so their usual Services are automatically included when booked but can still be changed if needed.

When Booking a Job from the Schedule, a Resource's Default Services are automatically added to the booking. If a Resource has more than one Default Service, all of them will be added, but any you don't need can be removed before booking. If a Resource has no Default Service, [...] will show next to their name in the booking pop-up, and you can click it to add a Service.

To set Default Service/s from the Resource:

1. Open the Resource
2. In the Resource > Services tab you will see all Services assigned to the Resource
3. Click the Default button next to each Service you want to set as a Default (you can add as many as required)
4. Click the button again to remove a Default if needed

To set Default Service/s from the Schedule:

1. Click the name of the Resource on the Schedule to add them to the booking pop-up
2. Click the Service code/name next to the Resource's name, or [...] if no Service is shown
3. In the Services list, click the green tick next to a Service to set it as a Default, or click it again to remove the Default
4. Default Services are marked [DEFAULT] in the list

Please Note:

• Changing Default Services does not affect existing Jobs - it only applies to new ones
• Setting a Default from the Schedule updates the Resource > Services tab, not just the booking
• Clicking the red X in the Services list on the Schedule deletes the Service from the Resource's Services list
