Media Events and Contents

The Event list is where you can record the contents of the Media asset. This is usually a list of all the programs on clips on the drive or tape - and can include position info like time code.

To add a new Event, you can simply complete the form on the left of the Events tab and click "Add". Once added you can modify most of the values within the table itself. Where this is not possible, or if you find it easier - you can click the yellow paper and pencil icon to load the row back in to the form. You can then use the "Edit" button to save your changes.

Once data has been loaded into the form, you can also use the "Duplicate" button to make a copy of that item. This will immediately copy the row and add another to the table.

There are also two buttons to allow importing of data directly into the Event list. The formats are strict, and you should ask us for more information if you want to start using them.
