The Media Movement screen can be used to update the Location and/or Shelf of numerous media records at once. Records can either be updated manually by entering the information, and entering (or scanning) the barcodes one record at a time, or a CSV file can be imported containing the details to update multiple records at once.

Please Note: If manually entering the barcode, press the Enter key from this field to add the item to the movement table below. Scanning with a barcode reader will do this automatically.

To record movements manually:

  1. Main Menu > Media Movement
  2. Complete the Destination and Taken by details
  3. Click into the Barcode field and Scan the Assets Barcode
(If you don't have a scanner, Enter the Barcode and click Enter from that field)
  4. Ignore the Batch field
  5. The Movement will be added to the list below
  6. Repeat Steps 2-5 until all movements recorded
  7. Important! Click Save Media Movements to submit
  8. The list will clear away once submitted

If you wish to use a scanner to scan multiple locations & barcodes to generate a file for importing into the Media Movement screen
