Configure DMG Instruction / Billing Menu

Before you can add a DMG Task to a Job, the Operation/Billing menu must be configured in the ‘Combo Box Options’ section of the system:

The DMG Service menu can consist of up to three levels to help group your Services. The system uses the following names, (categories), for each level:

• Level 1 - dmgaction
• Level 2 - dmgselector
• Level 3 - dmgselector2
  

To configure your DMG menu, first open the Combo Box Options Page:

1. Menu
2. Admin Options
3. Combo Box Options

Then, where required, configure each level using the steps below:

Level 1 - DMG Action (dmgaction)

1. Select ‘dmgaction’ from the 'Category' dropdown list (This will show you the root menu options you currently have)
2. To add a new root menu option, enter the text that you would like to appear in the menu in the 'Description' field in the panel on the right and Save.

Level 2 - DMG Selector (dmgselector)

1. To add a service option to the categories, (dmgactions), you have set up, select ‘dmgselector’ from the 'Category' dropdown list.
2. You will see a list of the current options populate the centre panel.
3. If you click on one of the existing options in the centre panel, you will see the details populate on the right-hand side.
4. The ‘Description’ field contains the text that will appear in the menu, and the text which will be added as the description on the Job DMG row.
5. The ‘Information’ field contains the service name from the ratecard, (these need to match exactly for costing).
6. The ‘Format’ field contains the ‘dmgaction’, (the root menu option).

Level 3 - DMG Selector 2 (dmgselector2)

1. To create a submenu item you can use the 'dmgselector2' Combo Box category.
2. In the same way that you set up the 'dmgselector', you will need to enter the following data into the text boxes in the right hand panel.
3. The ‘Description’ field contains the text that will appear in the menu, and the text which will be added as the description on the Job DMG row.
4. The ‘Information’ field contains the service name from the ratecard, (these need to match exactly for costing).
5. The ‘Format’ field contains the ‘dmgaction’.
6. The ‘Video Standard’ field contains the first submenu option, (the dmgselector)

Please Note: If the 'dmgaction', 'dmgselector' or 'dmgselector2' categories are not available, follow these steps to add them:

1. Open the 'Combo Box Options' page - Menu > Admin Options > Combo Box Options
2. Click the 'Add New' button
3. When prompted, enter the new Category name, (e.g. 'dmgaction'), and click OK
4. The new category will populate the 'Category' field in the panel on the Right
5. Enter a 'Description', this will be the menu option text
6. Click Save

Delete DMG Services

1. Make a note of the Service Codes that you would like to remove from the service options
2. Menu > Admin Options > Combo Box Options
3. Select Category 'dmgselector'
4. Click on the options in the centre panel to see the details populate the panel on the Right and look for the Service Code in the 'information' field. Use the delete icon on the row in the centre panel to remove the Service from the menu option
5. To delete another DMG Service, Select Category 'dmgselector2' again and Repeat step 4.
