Insights Reports

CETA Software are pleased to launch Insights Reports, our new reporting tool which enables users to build and customise advanced reports. With this new tool, Users can filter and manipulate the data which has been put into iCFM to get detailed information on key statistics. Insights Reports can provide you with the information you need to optimise your operations, streamline your processes, and increase your overall efficiency.


Insights will include much of the same functionality as current iCFM reports, plus a lot more. As we bring all reports into one place, Insights will be the new location for your reporting requirements, and the old Dashboard and Management reports will be gradually phased out, and recreated in Insights.


Features

One of the new key features of Insights is its ability to report data in Tabular or Pivot formats. Users can choose the format that works best for their needs, whether they prefer the simplicity of tabular reports, or the added functionality of pivot reports, including graphical views which enables quick analysis of large amounts of data and can aid in making decisions.


Users with the required permissions will be able to tailor the criteria, layouts, and columns shown in reports to fit their needs, and easily group, sort and filter data, as well as add additional filters to refine data analysis. 


Using the built-in design tools, users can set up grouping and summarise data. Columns can be moved, hidden or shown according to requirements - and using the pivot functionality they can build out extremely complex result-sets; creating columns, rows, and groups from any of the available values.

All results can be exported to Excel for further analysis, and additionally any reports created with the UI can be exported via our "Spectrum" API, allowing for integration with third-party business intelligence tools.


User Permissions

There are three new Permissions relating specifically to the Insights Reports tool, which give or remove the functionality to view, edit, and save reports. With all permissions approved, Users can save reports so that you and other Users in your organisation can access them again, to regularly get updated results.

Please Note: By default Super Admin Users will have all three new permissions approved, and all other Users will have all three permissions denied.
