Resource Calendar Sync

First, you need to give each artist who wants to sync to iCal a 'GUID' in the resource editor.

To do that you will need to do the following:

Go to Menu > Admin Options > Resource List
Search for the Resource that you want to set up iCAL for and open the Resource
Then click on the Generate GUID button and copy the text

Then you subscribe (don't download) to a new calendar in iCal / Outlook etc using the following URL:

(replacing the blue parts with the relevant details):

https://{your_ceta_url}/data/resource.ical.php?guid={resource_guid}

Let us know if you have any issues getting this working.

Be warned - some calendar applications do not pull data from our system regularly enough to make it useful. Google calendars, for example, sometimes only does it once every few days. This means the calendar can get out of sync. There is a workaround (if you need to use Google) but other calendars allow you to set the refresh frequency.
